DYNACAR: NEW FUNCTIONALITY FOR THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE SIMULATOR (2013-11-14)

To show once more that TECNALIA is fully committed with e-mobility and, more specifically, with electric vehicle development, in the EVS-27 that will be hold in Barcelona, Spain, TECNALIA will present Dynacar electric vehicle simulator. This virtual car is able to validate power systems and dynamic behaviour of a new car, and it will reduce time and cost for automotive systems development.

Dynacar is a simulation test system for future cars, which lets designing, developing, and validating several key systems of the vehicle from the very first concepts steps. Vehicle and systems manufacturers can validate the very first prototypes of motors, shiftboxes, batteries of ABS systems with a real time tool, that show how the whole car is going to perform. TECNALIA is helping to solve the need of enterprises to reduce time and costs for new products. TECNALIA will also present other developments related with electric motor in wheel. This layout is a technology challenge and offers many advantages for future implementations.

In the stand C350, TECNALIA stuff will perform real demos of the system. Visitors will be able to test this virtual car and interact whith it.

Dynacar has already become in an international referent for automotive systems simulation. From last year, the engineering company Aries Technology is responsible of its distribution in Europe and Asia. On the other hand, Wineman Technology,  Based in Detrioit (MI), leader in design and development of high technology testing equipment for propulsion systems, is responsible for distribution in NAFTA since2010.
